SMALLER THAN THAT!!!(I THINK??)CHASSIS SPECS 43 INCHES TALL,36 INCHES WIDE AND 8.5 FEET LONG. REAR HONDA 1.6 4CYL,AUTO TRANS,DANA AXLES,ABOUT 160FT OF 1.5 DOM TUBING.(COMPARE TO 270FT OF TUBING IN MY CURRENT BUGGY)
I AM PLANNING TO GET ON THE CHASSIS BUILDING AS SOON AS I CAN GET THROTTLES GUN-BOATSIDED RIG DONE!!!!
I SAW THOSE PICS ON PIRATE THE OTHER DAY,BUT I AM SET ON TRYING OUT THE SUPER LIGHT WEIGHT OF USING A HONDA ENGINE AND TRANS (300LBS TOTAL)I ALREADY BOUGHT THE DONOR CAR FOR THIS BUILD.I JUST NEED TO BUY THE SHOCKS AND GET SOME SAMBO JOINTS,TIRES AND TUBING.I AM TRYING TO BUILD IT FOR LITTLE $$ ,OF COARSE THAT MEANS NO BEADLOCKS,SQUARE DRIVE LINES:gapteeth: MAYBE SOME GOOD USED 37INCH TIRES:dunno:

if you are going to build unbalanced drivelines, why not get an old shaft, cut the ends off and put them on some round tube. Deadandcompanyshortened my rear driveshaft and I have no vibes at 75 mph

THE PROBLEM ISNT WITH SHORTENING THEM(OR LENGTHENING) IT IS WITH THE AMOUNT OF SLIP THEY DONT OFFER,US BIG BALLIN ROCK CRAWLERS WITH MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF SUSPENSION FLEX NEED DRIVELINES WITH SOME TRAVEL!!!

dontcha think that the amount of actual driveline travel is pretty nominal... like less than 1 inch?? if you have a lot of spring wrap, i suppose it would change pretty drastically, but you run links...
