Hey all, I know this is not hardcore but I want all the hardcore mo-fo's to be there. The turnout was great last time, hopefully this time will be as fun. We'll be meeting at the IHOP at 0930 by Mervyn's and heading out after breakfast. Hope to see you all there

I'm glad to see that nobody showed up.:thefinger It was a great day anyway. I tore the crossmember out from the XJ, which locates the front links and the front axle and it decided to walk out from the heep. I was the canyon by the second wall of death and obviously not a great postion to get it back into place and fix it totally twisted up It took two hours to winch it back under the jeep and get it welded back into place. I had pulled the bolts out of the frame that secured it originally. Luckily Jake had a readywelder and we were able to get it back into position. But it was a blast. Have fun at moonrocks this weekend fawkers.

I'll get some up soon. I plated the unibody rails with 1/4" angle but used the stock mounting holes for my new x-member:no: . Needless to say it will be redone better this time around.

Sheesh, if you are going to go through all that trouble why not just build a Toyota that has a real frame :thefinger
