This is a land use topic, but this is truely Hardcore news that they are closing parts of Johnson Valley and the dry lake. Everyone needs to know this, and try to do something about it. http://www.dirtnewz.com/dr-pressreleases/06-2006/blmclosure-6-14-06.shtml
Also read Denis post in the land use section, but with the Hammer trails effected this belongs here too. They are using the BS endangered species act as thier tool, as well as lawsuits to the BLM. I would imagine support to the Blue Ribbon Coalition, as well as other groups can help fight this. We also need to not give any reason for them to do it in the first place.
