No i think the XJ Nation blacklisted him and sent this letter " To Mr Rok-jeep After review of your application for membership we are sorry we had to reject your application as the accompanying photo clearly shows that your rig is being wheeled on real rocks, has cut fenders, and there are no bumpers or doors. That is a clear violation of the rules and bylaws. Please try THEROCKGODS.COM I think the cater to your kind. Sincerely The XJ Nation."

I love starting controversy. I believe it was my heep with a SOR sticker that Rockape made a comment about at Prison Hill that one of the SOR employees overheard went back and told Shaffer about and it started the Rockape/Shaffer challenge and now it has started the Yotapower/Drivenmf challenge. I feel so powerful.

Oh and I got denied in the box that weekend and that pic was taken as I attempted to make a graceful exit with my tail between my legs. Nothing broke but I backed out as it was the first trip with the new shit and I didn't want to break it on a Sunday afternoon with nobody to tow me out. Yes, my puss was big that day.

That was a jeep of a former employees at work. He left it out front one too many days. Rolled into work one morning and the damn wheels were gone. So I sold him mine for $400 and bought some 35's for $400 good deal for me.

This is my ride, and it will be fixed very soon.

http://www.ericsxj.com/barrett/2851.jpg

It is basically a combination of my friends totalled XJ, some tube, and rok-jeep's castaway drivetrain. Features:

UHMW plated boatsides
Wheelbase stretched about 2.5"
Full cage integrated into the unibody.
Mostly stock XJ drivetrain (4.0L, AW4, NP242, D30, D44).

The body/frame/cage thing is dying for some real axles, but for now, budget dictates it stays mostly stock. Body work still needs finishing, but who knows how long that will take...

Hello,
I've been poking around here that last couple of days and thought I'd say HI! A lot of cool rigs here. I don't have anything special. I bought a '95 Geo Tracker for my daughter, but I think I either have to get her something else, or find another one for me.... It's totally stock, and it gets around OK, but I'd like to do some mods on it to make it a little more fun off-road. I was thinking crawler gears, locker in the rear, and a lift. I also thought about doing a SAS on it. Anyone else here have one?
Although I probably can't run with most of you guys, I'd like to go out and watch or help sometime. I'm in the Dayton area, so the next time you head this way, let me know!
Later,

nvbigblue
October 12th, 2006, 09:55 PM
Ya I've noticed that unless you get really custom, the aftermarket parts area is pretty slim for Trackers. I was mainly thinking of upgrading it enough to have a little fun, but still be a dependable DD. I came across a old Toyota a couple weeks back that the guy only wanted $800 for, but he sold it before I could get back to him on it. Oh well....

And, unless it's serious.... I never take anything seriously!

GIVE US A LIST OF THE TRAILS YOU WENT ON THIS YEAR WHERE YOU ACTUALLY DROVE YOUR RIG. AND DON'T BOTHER TO MENTION YOUR 2WD DIRT ROAD TRIPS THAT YOU CALL WHEELIN'.

Dude your so cool. I wish I could be you. Im so jealous. My rig is what it is. Locked and loaded on 35s. Gets where I need it to go. It can do the hard trails such as the Rubicon or even the Fordyce most likely. And then its a great hunting rig for which I do a lot of. Wait, "most likely" could do those trails, or has run them? There is a difference. I wouldn't suggest throwing out names like the Rubicon or Fordyce if you haven't run them in your Jeep.

You drove that buggy hard and sent her down the road. It will be interesting to see what you do with the Mog and Yota.

"Crasher" Tim A., w/ the air bag, mog'd FJ45LV used to have a mog similar to that-- there was EXTREME pucker factor descending steep drop-offs. Some of thse guys use tractor weights in the rear to tame the light weight ass end.

Its only a single beacause of the auto. Next up are 5.29s gears. It dose alright with power but if I were to step up to 35s or larger she wil be more of a dog. The front brifs have held up well with the welded front. But larger tires will put a stop to that. Cheap cheap...

Yeah the body is starting to get thrashed. The second trip to the rubi I decided to stop caring and deal with body damage. Just last weekend I layed the passenger side along a rock wall blowing the glass out. Out in a caynon in Prison Hill in Carson.

I like the pic in your sig. I have a ramcharger frame that I was thinking of dropping a truck cab on. I like where you mounted the jerry can and hi lift.

Got any more pics of it somewhere?

Its on my truck right now!
I tore the side wall out of one of my mudders so I had to put it on. It has been on my truck for about three months now, granted mostly parked and the occasional run up the driveway but thats it. It is the only tire I dont have to keep adding air to.

THAT WILL BE $50......FOR THE DR.ROCKAPE HOW TO SCORE ADVICE!!!!

This is the bible right here!!! I had this hot little sorority girl friend in college, and when I went out with her I got attention from girls that never would talk to me before. Girls grabbin my ass as Im walking through the bar, wanting me to hit it!

Girls look at guys with girlfriends at a catch because A) they have a girlfriend and B) they like what they cant have!

Konrad, one more thing little buddy. If you treat girls like dirt, they stick like mud!

Not as of right now. Wheelbase is at 105" now and more of the body is going to be removed in front of the rear wheels. I'm going to weld tubing in on the rocker and extend the wheel well where the two saddle tanks are now. When I put in my D60s next winter I'll be going coils so it may move then.

The cage was in it when I got it. The guy said it is a bolt together that has been welded in certain areas. I would like to reinforce it, but at least it covers the back.
