WHEN YOU GIVE PARTS TO SOMEONE ON THE TRAIL DO OR SHOULD YOU EXPECT THEM BACK. WHAT IF THE PART IS HARD TO FIND AND EXPENSIVE AND THE GUY LIVES IN THE SAME TOWN BUT YOU REALLY DONT KNOW HIM BUT YOU CAN GET AHOLD OF HIM IF YOU WANTED TOO.

Depends on conditions....did you want the part back and make a mention to it being a loner....or did you just say here you go enjoy...if you now where the person is you can ask him if he is done with it yet.....most times unless you specifically say i need this back or its a loner kiss the parts gone....future trail etiquette....if you use someone else's parts and its more than 20 bucks...do the right thing and return it or make some sort of composation....

That's total bullshit.....yo ass is broke on the trail, yo dumb ass don't bring spare parts...yo lucky ass is wheelin' with spare parts or someone comes along w/ what yo broke ass needs, then, when yo thankfull ass gets back to civilization, yo educated ass needs to replace items borrowed a.s.a.p.
