a buddy of mine has a 1500 series truck he totalled and would like to sell the 5.9 L motor, tranny, axles all for 2500.....supposedly everything is in good running condition, just would cost 10K to fix the body....if anyone is interested PM me.....I will try and get pics if I can and more info, like the year....but it is a newer truck.. I'm guessing high 90's, early 2000's

what are the axles? passenger drop front? $2500 seems like a rip off, are they locked and loaded?

thats not a ripoff for everything....sounds like he is selling the whole rolled truck for that....enigne, transfercase, transmission, axles, fuel injected enigne....i did that with my truck....insurance totaled it, i bought it back for 500 and sold it for 1000...

that's about exactly what he's doing...just found out it is a 1999 and the front axle is new with 8K miles on it or so....sounds like the only damage is to the front right pass. corner, causing the radiator to buckle in and much of th ebody is destroyed...he tolded me the mechanic he took it to to get quoted for repairs says the frame is in good condition....most of the damage is to the body.

Half ton trucks don't come with Dana 60 front axles.
