Farmingdale South Dakota on Labor Day. This guy has a really cool Ranger with a rowdy 460 that he uses for mud racing.

The truck was totally garage built, it was really cool. He has the motor way back in the chassis and it is tubed out and has coilovers. He is planning on adding air bumps in the near future to smooth out the landings. The crazy part is that I did not even get any photos the time he went really big! :jaw:

I USED TO GET MORE AIR THAN THAT IN MY STOCK RANGER BACK IN THE DAY!!! :buttkick:

It is kind of deceiving because he is going uphill. If you look at the first photo you can see how there is a steep slope, then it tapers off but still goes uphill. This made for very cooshy landings, the faster he went the further up the hill he landed, but he wasn't much higher in the air.

i guess that's some good air.....not Laughlin Leap kind of air, but still good :biggrin:
i'd like to make it back there one of these days. i've got a bunch of family in the Dakotas and in Iowa and would be nice to wheel up there. looks like a bunch of fun :biggrin:

try hertz....the rent some nice fullsize chevy trucks.....just pay for insurance....then launch away....Did that one time in pismo but it was a dodge dakota......what a blast....guy was pretty pissed off but hey i paid the insurance.....:biggrin:
