i have from Hesco a mechanical fuel pressure guage-- it is great to help trouble shoot fuel delivery issues for injected motors. The one pictured below is simply taped to the mirror and connects to the schrader valve on the fuel rail. Looks goofy driving around. Any suggestions for an in cab EFI pressure guage. i've seen some that are powered w/ antifreeze, others w/ fuel, altho i'm not too excited about a pressurized fuel line in the cab.
ideas?

I used to run a hood mounted liquid filled Auto meter fuel pressure guage on my 89 5.0 Bracket car.
I never liked the idea of a fuel pressure guage in the cab, irregardless if it had isolator or not.
I suspect that the lower part of your windshield/cowl might hide a guage, unless you maybe blocked it up a couple inchs. Just an idea.

THANKS FOR YOUR QUESTION. FIRST THING YOUR SHOULD HAVE USED THE STANDERED GRAY COLORED DUCTED TAPE. AND THE MOST ACCURATE WAY TO REGULATE YOUR FUEL SYSTEM IS THROUGH THE FUEL SYSTEM AND IM PRETTY SURE THAT ANY TYPE OF IN CAB FUEL REGULATOR IS MORE SAFE THAN THE ON THE DRIVER SIDE MIRROR OF YOUR JEEP

i have no need for fuel pressure regulation-- that's hanbdled-- i want a way to monitor the in line fuel pressure, one to verify the adjusted pressure and to simply monitor the system. and yes, red duct tape is preferred...

I THOUGHT THE GAUGES WITH THE ISOLATOR DIDNT ALLOW FUEL INTO THE PASSENGERS COMPARTMENT???WHEN IM TESTING I JUST LAY THE GAUGE ON THE WINDSHIELD IN MY DIRECT LINE OF SIGHT!!!I KNOW THE GAUGES WITH THE ISOLATOR ARE LIKE DOUBLE OR TRIPLE THE PRICE!!!

i monitor my dodge fuel pressure going into the injection pump. After having to replace the $1200 pump thanks to being starved by a $130 crap lift pump that died, without my knowing, ill never be without knowing exactly how much pressure is going into my IP again.
i have an ELECTRONIC FP gauge which uses a sender instead. the cost is a bit more, but now i can put it in my cab in the dash so i can easily see it.
Both Autometer and Stewart Warner make a great product, though autometer was too expensive for the same gauge that stewart warner sells

this is the one i have. it comes in both 0-15 and 0-100 psi gauges, both black and white.

This seems to be a rite of passage for Cummins owners. BD Power makes an LED to notify you of low fuel pressure:

The Edge Attitude can monitor that as well, but I don't know if they make it for your truck Tony. :dontno:

harry its almost as though the gauge should have come as factory equiptment.
the low pressure LED is nice, but it warns you possibly AFTER the damage is done. with the gauge, i know the exact pressure at every throttle position, and load condition. it tells me when to back off the throttle, and also indicates when the fuel filter starts getting dirty!!
the attitude would be nice to have also if you have the $$$$, and hadnt already invested in a gauge set. since i have the 3 a-pillar autometers plus the FP gauge in my dash, i wouldnt want to make them feel obsolete!!! haha
