What kind of calipers are you using?
I hear that the Escalade is the best way to go for the E-brake but I imagine those have to be pricy.

(SINCE HE BOUGHT THE CALIPERS THROUGH ME)THEY ARE JUST CHEVY DANA 44 FRONTS!!!THE BRACKETS HE GOT ARE BLING SINCE THEY NEED NO SPACERS!!!(UNLIKE ALL THE OTHER ONES OUT THERE!!!!)

so getting back on topic.

Do you need to use a purporting valve now since you got rid of the drums?

You still need a proportioning valve whether you have discs or drums. This controls the bias for the rear brakes so they don't lockup before the front brakes do.

FOR OFF-ROAD USE ONLY YOU WONT NEED A DIFFERENT PROPORTIONING VALVE!!!BUT IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE IT ON THE STREET I WOULD RECOMMEND JUST ADDING A SUMMIT OR WILWOOD ADJUSTABLE PROP. VALVE IN LINE WITH THE REAR BRAKES!!!THATS WHAT I DID!!!IT DOES TAKE A LITTLE WHILE TO ADJUST(LOTS OF TRIAL AND ERROR WITH THE ADJUSTMENT)BUT ONCE YOU ARE HAPPY WITH IT YOU WONT NEED TO MESS WITH IT AGAIN!!!!!

you can get the rotors anywhere.
I will be using rotors off a D44 (3/4 ton) and the calipers too.
