SINCE EVERY RIG I CURRENTLY HAVE HAS BOTH,WHATS THE GENERAL WHEELING COMMUNITY THINK???
THE MAIN REASON I RUN LEAFS UP FRONT IS THEY TEND TO MAKE THE RIG MORE STABLE IN AN OFF CAMBER SITUATION,PLUS ONCE I LEARN TO DRIVE SOMETHING I HATE TO CHANGE IT AND HOPE I STILL CAN DRIVE IT AS WELL!!!!
DISCUSS!!!!

Leaf springs are pretty simple and cheap and they work. The one downside I see is that I hit my spring hangers in the front, if I had coils I could shorten up the front frame rails and move the winch back. Coilovers are nice for high speed running too, but you definitely need to have your geometry right since there is less margin for error on the steering axle and it is hard to work around steering components and the oil pan.
If they work why switch though?

THE NEW PROJECT WILL BE LINKS FRONT AND REAR!!!!
BUT,I WOULD LIKE A BETTER APPROACH ANGLE IN THE FRONT OF THE TWO SEATER!!!!I THINK IT WOULD CLIMB BETTER ALSO!!!!BUT TORN......AFTER WATCHIN THE FLOPPER PRACTICALLY ROLL OVER IN ITS OWN SHADOW(MORE THAN ONCE!!!)!!!!

I think that it is difficult to set up something that will work well at high speeds and also for rockcrawling. Radius arms are great at speed since they have a swaybar effect, but that can lead to binding in the rocks, which I think is why so many people run a wristed radius arms or a three link in the front. What front suspension setup is Spoon running?
In the new FourWheeler Ned Bacon has an article about the revised rear suspension on his Jeep buggy. He ditched the triangulated four link and is running an Nth Degree stinger in conjunction with straight lowers and a track/panhard bar. He told me that he likes this a lot better both at speed and in the rocks.

SPOON HAS Y LINK 3LINK(LIKE ALL OF MY REAR SET-UPS)BUT THE "Y" IS ON THE BOTTOM(MORE LIKE THE OLD WALKER EVANS FRONT ON HIS S-10)
I WAS THINKING WRISTED RADIUS ARM(ONE SIDE)AND A PANHARD FOR MY TWO SEATER.MAINLY FOR FITMENT AND ITS INHERANT BIND!!!!IM NOT LOOKING FOR ANYMORE FLEX FROM THE FRONT,JUST LESS APPROACH!!!BUT, I WANT TO KEEP THE STABILITY I ALREADY HAVE!!!!!
THE THREE LINK (Y UPPER)THAT I RUN IN THE REAR IS SUPER FLEXY AND SINCE IT DOESNT HAVE MUCH RESISTANCE TO BODY ROLL(WEATHER IM CORNERING OR SIDE-HILLING)IM NOT WANTING TO CUT OUT WHATS WORKING!!!!!

Maybe add an Anti-Rock type sway bar to the rear for more stability?

YEAH MAYBE!!!I GUESS YOU CANT HAVE EVERYTHING YOU WANT ALL ROLLED INTO ONE WITHOUT SOME KIND OF COMPROMISE!!!!I THINK FR&REAR WINCHES TO DRAW THE SUSPENSION DOWN WOULD GIVE YOU THE SAME EFFECT......SINCE YOU WOULD BE PULLING THE SHOCKS DOWN TO A POINT THAT THEY ARE ALMOST BOUND UP!!!!!
I THINK WITH THE NEW ONE HAVING A LOWER CENTER OF GRAVITY(AND VERY LITTLE UPTRAVEL) WILL HELP!!!!
