i watched the TTC '06 video and that Burton guy with the TJ and rocks had his 53s down to 0psi  .....AND THEY STILL DIDN'T FLEX WELL!!! but they still seemed to work well....or maybe it was just the sheer size of the tires that gave him an advantage???

I was watching that guy last night on the Outdoor Channel.
0psi and the tires didnt seem to flex at all.
But then, how heavy is a TJ on Rockwells? 1500 a corner?

If you decide to get rid of the 49's and they are for a 16.5" rim you have a buyer right here.

On a side note, is there anywhere local to get these tires. They are fairly inexpensive, but I hate shipping shit like that. All of my hooligan friends think I need to run these for some reason so I am looking into it. It seems like its more trouble than its worth, but hey thats the story of my life!!!

Hey that perfectly defines my 4runner on a whole. Actually I believe the next set of tires will either be the 49" iroks or for some unbeknown reason the 47" LTB. We will see how I do on 44's for now.

The biggest problem with military tires is the weight rating. Most military tires in that size are rated F or G (or higher) and designed for vehicles that weigh over 25,000#. Ergo, no flex on a 5,000# rig.
