I'm new here, and I was just wondering how many of you guys got mogs under your rigs. 404's, 406's, 416's...Whatever..Some guys on pirate and i were wondering how much seperation between your lowers and uppers is necesary...I'm running about 10.5 in the rear and 10.25 in the front...Just wonder what you guys are doing...Post some pics up if you guys got any....heres some of mine...I will start a build thread on here if there is any interest in it....

I think I met you on the rubicon once....I had the busted up peace of shit sammi on 36 iroks and dana 44's.... I thinked talked to your friend and he said he lived down the street from me just out of Auburn....It has to be you because who else has puts mogs under a new rubi...anyway...yes all the fab work was done by myself...I make everything possible...not just to save money, but i take pride in it also...from pinion conversions to york mounts I machine and fab all myself...No air shocks yet, but i might be adding coilovers to the front if i find the right price... :Big Grin:

i remember meeting you but not all the details. my friend doug was with me on the con earlier this year and he lives in newcastle. do you own your own machining equipment or just have access to. the work i can see in the pics looks good.

Maybe I could get you out on a trial or something after the new year if there isnt too much snow....How are your axles holding up?? Who else here is mogs?? have a good one, im going to bed..

Fine now that they have the Dane Warranty on them!!! Seriously, we have worked thru a lot of shit, but they are amazing axles!!! Just work out the bugs and make sure your shit is locked front and rear all the time!!!

Those axles seem to be Rock Crushers...when you came down hard off the V-Crack...there's never any worry about hurting them....

last time out i broke a front cv joint in the axle due to my hydro ram mounts snapping and over turning the wheels. need to relace the joint and add two more clamps to my hydro mount. overall the axles have held up well. i had a lot of problems with the lockers breaking before due to them not fully engaging or staying fully engaged. now the cogs are welded solid and they are locked all the time. havent had a problem with them since.

i am from sac but we head to MR all the time. i would be down for a trip next year. i still have to get my shit back together and i woould like to pick up some new tires. know anybody with some 42s on 16.5

Damn, I just bought a set from summit for 1415, but i think I can get them down to 1315, because the overcharged me for tax. I have looked for about 4 months now, and that was the cheapest i could find them. I'm picking them up tho, so that is without shipping, plus you get 60 bucks back for "summit bucks." Not a bad deal overall...
