ANYBODY KNOW WHERE THERES SOME SNOW TO GO AND PLAY IN???DOG VALLEY??PEAVINE??

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THROTTLE TRUGGY OUT AND PLAY IN SOME 2-4+ FT OF SNOW!!!!MAYBE EVEN PLAN A RUN!!!!

i got into 6" a little more than halfway up Peavine rd.......there's gotta be a foot plus at the top??? :dontno:

Well there is supposed to be another storm coming in so wait and see and pray real hard then maybe the truggy will have it's chance at extractions...:Big Grin: Let the Injuns POWWOW and bring in some "REAL" snow... or maybe APE should load up and head to Colorado !!!

You could find lots of snow up on Yuba Pass or back by Bowman lake. Kind of a trek for you reno folk but you could run some snowmobilers of the trail :smilie:

yeah, sure... last week i did a 2 hour run on peavine and logged 40 miles! one can really zip along on the 4 wheeler-- a run like that in the heep would take a lot longer. and the quad has front and rear Warn winches, so we can at least help recover other quads...and maybe an XJ, haha

the back side of peavine, easier accessed from bordertown casino features 'squeeze rock' and the infamous jeep eater hill. its all in shaded, heavy pine trees, so i bet its pretty deep stuff. getting to just the summit may be a challenge...

if u dudes go up the service road toward the summit, off of old virginia as stated, i can look for ya around where it intersects the fenceline trail. that's about 1/2 way up. i live in panther valley and will ride from here, up the ridgeline to the service road-- that is if the snow isn;t too deep...ARGH! i'll bring the CB on Ch. 16.

post up if its a go and i can be there like 12:30 and we'll see who can get where!

for sure. getting gear all sorted out right now and plan to leave house at 11:15. yeah, it sucks being able to ride right from the house...
