Hanger Bushing Question

Anyone mount your swiv'l shackle to a hanger that doesn't have a bushing in it?

I'm fab'n some now, but don't have bushings, and wonder how much of a prob. it will cause.

Such as losing some twist when flexing, or cracking the hanger/frame.

not a good idea cause it would squek like all hell. it also would wear out the steel fast since its not hardened. bushings are cheap, just go buy some and do it right....

X2 ON USING A BUSHING!!!!I USUALLY USE CJ7 REAR BUSHINGS FOR MOST THINGS LIKE THIS!!!THEY ARE 1 INCH OD SO THEY FIT NICE IN 1.25 .120 WALL TUBE OR 1.5 .250 WALL TUBE!!!!YOU CAN GET A PKG FROM SUMMIT FOR ABOUT $20!!!
