I need a flex plate for an aw4 transmision. Early 90's I think (asian). And i need the shifter . Also need some spare d30 axle shafts (early 90's d30).

make sure you get the same flex plate as your engine has. I had a H.O. flexplate and my engine wouldn't start because I needed a renix flexplate. You should be OK as long as you get one off of a 91+! Good luck and holler if you have any questions.

I went ahead and ordered all the parts I needed from J&W, got them all in yesterday. And I ordered the aw shift controller last week but still havent seen it. In the next few weeks Ill start putting it all together.

ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE ON THIS ASK B-SAUCE...HE IS THE EXPERT(NO REALLY!!!) ON THIS SWAP HE HAS DONE IT SEVERAL TIMES ON HIS SAME RIG IN THE COASE OF A WEEK!!!!HOW MANY TIMES DID YA HAVE IT OUT B???

I had it out like 5 times! It sucked major balls. Another tip I will pass along is to make sure the torque converter is seated all the way. It should be below the bellhousing...

AND DONT PULL THE TRANS UP TO THE ENGINE WITH THE BOLTS!!!!:cool:

Have two D30s. One from a 91, and one from a 90, you come get it, both for a 12 pack of guiness.
