Ok, so I joined up sometime a week or two ago, couldn't post then, finally getting around to it.
HI.
I doubt I will make the hardcore section, as my (wife's) jeep must sadly remain a daily driver, and I cannot afford to start something new; but I'm sure we'll add some new dents anyway.

94 yj, 4.0, ax15 (no syncros no more), np231 sye, d30/35 soon to be d30 locked, ford 8.8limslip, 4"sprung under, 33's, adding onto the cage and building a rear rack. Hopefully adding OBA. Oh yeah, also got a 8k harbor freight winch, which got used 1st time yesterday, so I know it works.
See ya on the trail. Or off. Or upside down. Or...

Welcome, Sounds like a decent start to an offroader.....post up some pics.

Dont worry...the hardcore section is kinda the hardcore chit-chat section.33s and a 4inch lift will take you through 95% of the trails around here!!!(incl the rubicon!!)

It's that other 5% that wakes me up at night. I was thinking... maybe I should take the axles out of my dodge (dana 80's) and drop them under the cadillac with, say, some backhoe tires just to see what would happen? Or not... anyway, here's a couple pics.

i remeber driving that jeep..:rolleyes: my friend bought the top and doors of it. i also remember looking at that jeep just after it was rolled... almost bought it.. but ended up with my stocker instead:rolleyes:

That's pretty funny. We've done some work on it. Took the top off, made the winch work. Added the SYE. Change the caster, improved the front track bar, unhooked the rear. Believe it or not, it actually drives down the road 70mph without looking/feeling like a DUI in progress. Also ran lower Bronco Cyn w/Big Blue and Icewolf. So yeah, it's coming along, still got a way to go on it though. I was wondering if it had been seen around before we got it!

sounds like its alot better then last time i saw it(more then a year ago)
