i'm new here, not sure if anyone knows who i am, but i've been working on a stationwagon for the trails. it's a bit redneck, so don't laff. some pictures are to fallow shortly. it used to be a '79 toyota stepside p/u, with a ford v8,till i went to the hammers for THANKSGIVING. and some how got a bit ABUSIVE. so now it looks like this jungle gym short bus. ( i'm further along in shorter time than "LUMPY" )

WELL LETS SEE, I'M SURE SOME OF YOU REMEMBER MY '79 OD GREEN TOYODA WITH THE V8 IN IT. '89 302, MP435, AND DUEL TOY T-CASES. BEEN LIKE THAT FOR 5 YEARS OR BETTER. WELL I WENT TO THE HAMMERS FOR THANKGIVING, AND IT SEEMS I GOT A BIT ABUSIVE, BROKE SOME SHIT, BENT SOME SHIT, AS A MATTER OF FACT I BROKE MY SHORT SIDE AXLE, A 30 SPLINE CHROME MOLLY LONGFIELD. BENT THE FRONT AXLE  SO AFTER I GOT HOME I TOOK OFF THE TIN AND STARTED ON THE BUS. USING THE HENDRIX F-TOY AS AN INSPERATION, MY BUDDY STEVE (purple sammy) AND I BENT THIS UP. WE STRETCHED IT 10", ADDED THE ANGRY EYEBROW, AND SINCE I WANTED A FOUR SEETER (for the grandkids) WE CHANGED THE BACK TO THE STATION WAGON LOOK. NOT QUITE UP TO ROCK APE'S STANDERDS, BUT BESA ME CHEECHO OAKE KULO :mullet: (thats for all you redneck haters) FIRST THING I DID WAS BUY A SET OF 42" TIRES FROM JOE THE TOE thank you. BLOKED UP THE FRAME AT THE RIDE HIGHTH OF MY P/U, AND RAISED THE AXLES TO ACOMADATE THE NEW TIRES. ON THE FRONT I TOOK OFF THE 44044s, AND INST. A SET OF STOCK '78 CHEROKEE FRONT SPRINGS. ON THE REAR IS NOW A THREE LINK WISHBONE ON GRAND CHEROKEE V8 COILS. REAR AXLE TRUSSED UP, AND RUBICON EXPRESS JOINTS. THE UPPER LINK USES A PAIR OF MID 80s CHEVY SPRING BUSHINGS IN THE FORWARD MOUNTS. SO WHEN I WAS DONE WITH THE 42s ON, THE FRAME IS AT THE SAME HIGHTH AS THE P/U WITH 35s ON IT.

SORRY, just figured out how to resise, maybe a little smaller eh ? SO, i moved the engine back in the frame 8", and made new motor mounts. added on a RANGER TOURQUE SPLITTER that bolted to the bellhousing,(27% overdrive-HA 5th GEAR) the MP435 bolted to it, and of course the two toy t-cases (i mean dayam, it is still a toyota, right ?) the BUDBUILT crossmember was trimed to fit flush with the bottom of the frame, and some new shifters were made to fit. (more dang bling) i used the same single exhost syst. that was on it before. but i traded the FLOWMASTER 2 chamber for a 3 chamber. everyone else liked the way it sounded, but they wern't in the cab with me. i had a new rear driveshaft made for it from DRIVELINE TECH in washington. 2000 taco yokes, and front CVjoint, with the quarter inch wall tubing. ITS PURDY. the front driveline is using the old front, long splined with quarter inch tube. but i needed to add into it a cut down toyota rear shaft with a larger carrier bearing to make up the differance from the t-case to the front driveline flange. i will need to build onto the crossmember to hold the carrier bearing.

yes i did get the seats redone, orange and black sun shade. the same material used for boats and awnings. i am home most of the time, its best to give me a call to make sure, and i'm always home after 3/3:30
but i like using my wifes truck. its a capable rig, just has small tires on it so i don't have far to fall out. this last summer she drove up thompson hill (ducy trail ) with a paper back book in one hand and the other arm hanging out the window. (funny shit to watch):Big Grin: now that it's startin to warmup a bit, i'm back out there again. it's hard to get motivated when you can't feel your fingers anymore.

fired it up today and set the timeing, the GOD DAMND P/S PUMP WILL NOT PUMP. it's a new pump too. i'll get it replaced tomorow. have to do some moification to the hydrolic clutch shit. the wireing is almost done, whew. started the axle builds, 60&70. 5.13s, detroit front, and welded rear. then get them mounted in the frame. I want to take it into the con for the Marlin run.

Not sure what you were getting. But I dont think they had exactly what you wanted. I was on my phone and checking out my new brake lines they made me.

I've got the vary first one they made there, it's on my slave cyl. for the clutch. I must have been looking for the adapters to use my toyota brake lines in my chevy master cyl. If there was another guy with me, that was Steve Dunkan (YOTA POWER)
