Ello all new to the forums I am up in idaho but I have alot of friends who wheel moon rocks and all around that area hopin to make it down there at least 4 times a year plus seems like a truly hardcore forum and it can never hurt to hang out here. Currently my TJ is for sale since I want to go with a longer wheelbase so I am sellin my 67 convertable mustang to dump into another wheeler. Lookin forward to being on this board :Big Grin:

I have owned 10 off road rigs none of whoch have been all that nice other than my latest TJ and I figure what the hell instead of continualky buying rigs I will make the leap and build exactly what I want. I am diggin your YJ build up though. I wanna see that thing wheelin with the v6 gonna be freakin sweet.

:Big Grin:thanks I got the v-6 in the garage and am working on getting new motor mounts put in so I can set the motor is place and start shuffling threw all the wiring...I heard a rumor that yuor talking with King Bling about a rig...if thats the truth your gonna blow about 95% of us backyard bootyfab garage builders out of the water...sweet!!!!!

tryin to call him today he says he isnt doing much fab i am hoping he will work with me. Your yj is set up alot like my TJ cept for the obvious TJ differences Its a smart way to wheel!

Yeah he bought a local hobby shop and is running the bprca so if you want a scale crawler I am sure he can set you up sweet. but if you can get him out retirement he does sweet work. Take a look at his links in his signature. And the big differnece between a yj and tj is the square headlights...like on the old gi-joe stinger jeeps!!! Oh and TJs are a lot nicer!

Yeah but until recently Iw as running the same boggers and wheels as you BB with a 44 rear and 30 front I would say thats pretty similar and didnt wan to rub in the whole TJ to YJ supiriority thing :wink:

I got the 8.8 in the rear and the dana 44 up front. I got my motor in last night and now how the joy of figgirn out how to run all the wires....but it fit nicely!:Big Grin:

Its got 4.88 and detroits front and rear. I am running 38.5 x 15 boggers. Hoping to get my hands on a klune-v or maybe the black box this winter. I like the klune-v cause its 4:1 but iots also about 700 dollars more....either way I hope that should put it right in the range I want it.

I need to finish welding them up tonight...they are just taked to make sure that everything is as it should be. I want to get it wired and make sure it fires and works before I go fully welding everything in....just in case i need to pull it and stick in a big block instead.....:Big Grin:

make sure you dont forget to go back and weld it.. i can see it now.. on the offical rockgods Prison Hill run BBs motor falls down onto his front axle...:eek:

ahh didnt realize they were just tacked up but hey I have forgot stupider things. cite's when he forgot to replace the drain plus and put 8 quarts of oil in his diesel without the level rising before puttin 2 and 2 together gin+1am doesnt work for wrenching :smash: Edit: actualy gin+ anything for me doesnt work well:drink:

I did that a few weeks ago with my truck...I drained the oil changedthe filter only to realize kragen gave me the wrong filter...climbed back under and put the old one back on and in the mist of pissin and moaning about the idiots at kragens I poured a bottle of slick 50 and about 4 qts of oil in my truck before I saw a big slick running down the driveway and realizing I didnt put the damn oil plug back in.....and I WAS SOBER!!!!:eek:

NOTE TO SELF...GO FINISH THE WELDS ON THE MOTOR MOUNTS SO ENGINE DOESNT FALL ON FRONT AXLE
