getting ready to set up OBA on the 4runner. i have one main question i have most of the parts already but for hose what size should i run? i was thinking that 1/4 inch would be good enough but should i run something bigger like 3/8?

this diagram i found does not use a manifold to separate the lines, i have another set of diagrams(printed out but i guess i can take a pic of them) that use a manifold with one line in, and 5 lines out. would i only need to use the manifold if i was going to run ARBs too?
also need a good place to mount the tank. the best one i can come up with is between the frame rails toward the back. ideas? i plan on mounting as much as i can under the hood with the exception of a quick connect so i dont need to lift the hood to use the air

The only reason for a larger hose would be to push more volume through the air lines, which in an OBA situation really doesn't matter because the compressor usually puts a maximum of like 3 SCFM (for a real nice electric) @ 90 psi.

I don't think you need a manifold before the tank unless it works out being inline for a quick connect in your design. The filter and a regulator for the ARB's is probably good insurance for the lockers. Although you may want to check and see if the compressor really needs any external oiling system, and if that will give you troubles down the line.
