2008 Monthly Trail Runs

Alright its time to get the show on the road for the new up and coming year. We have a lot of guys/gals on here that spend too much time bsing about wheeling so lets get out and do it. We are in the early stages of planning so your suggestions ideas and thoughts will be appreciated. We plan to have a monthly trail run rather than a meeting at some place. This way we all get to meet and still do what brought us to this site in the first place wheel!! We want to set it up so its the same weekend every month so that way you can either plan for it or if enough members protest change it for that month. Also we are gonna throw out a poll with a few different trails every month and you the members will vote on the actual trail that gets run. We are also planning to have everyone on the trail vote for the craziest antics or best wheeler of the day and give that person a little bonus something...t-shirt, stickers, TOR gift certificate...ideas people ideas..also we are planning two big runs. Fordyce and the Rubicon so lets set the dates early. Thanks for all your support now and in the future. Lets make 2008 a year to remember and a year to build upon in the future!:ohyes::lout:

I'll throw out the weekends of 12-13 or 19-20 January 08. I'll be in town those weekends and would like to meet some of you before I move out there this summer :Big Grin:

I'll leave the location/time stuff to you since you know the area trails. I'll just meet you there, watch, help where I can, and generally try to have a good time.

Dont worry dude we can do it on the trail....and with as cold as it is right now I dont think you need to be waxing your back....just leave it alone and let it act like a thick fur coat. Also just get a couple more rigs and you can wheel a different one every month of the year...

I just picked a weekend you bunch of homos..if any of you guys could read then it was clearly stated this is a work in progress....and if too many members cant make the alloted week we can change it for that month...and if Rockape makes it out to the moonrocks four times this next year that would be three more wheeling trips than this year...and he can take a different rig each time...hahahaha

I want to atleast make the fordyce and Rubicon trips (if I finish my jeep) These will probably be weekend trips right? If so lets start planing them now as well. I would like to go before september if posible. After september is hard. Hunting season starts, School starts for the kids, and some sports for the kids start.

thats cause it kept getting pushed back farther and farther and then my motor let go....this year we pick a date and it stays...if you cant make it tough tits...

I plan on doing several Rubicon and Fordyce trips. Was really bummed I didnt get to run either trail all the way through this summer. Only took the jeep down to cadillac this last summer.

Working on the jeep all winter to make sure its ready for summer.

ok all u nut sax, don't forget 4th of july gold lake shore camping w/ day runs over to snake lake. then Augest 4th is the hawley lake run for the wheelchair kids, then little deer lake or ??? Jeremy should have his hunk running by then and SV, thats a long shot, but at least his Ranger makes it to base camp.

Gold lake was fun for sure....so Ill mark that one down..if people have other ideas let me know...and we can defianiatly get some rigs together for the hawley lake run although this might be a little harder since a lot of guys run buggies....but by August Rockape might have enough rigs to transport them all himself...:Big Grin: And my rig is all done just waiting on the axle shafts....:mad:
