Reno Jeepers (the near defunct group) is doing a club run up the service road Sunday, so break some trail for them, haha.

I'd like to head out w/ u all Sat, but just noticed a pool of anti-freeze under the CJ-- no evidence of leaks near either rad hose, eother heater hoses and water piump/t-stat is clean also.... only possibility is a leak in rad itself-- damn! need to fire it up, let t-stat open up and watch for leak source... Fawking CJs-- its ALWAYS something.

Latest project is to convert from a return line fuel delivery system (dual line) to single line set up.

good time today-- 'ape, chris, LD and a few others go to high mark the service road and others dropped down into poeville canyon and faced a number of challenges getting down to horizon hills.

well, got to the trail head to find nobody, then found out the snow ape drive off in a ditch, an got stuck on the way to the trail. but with a little help from his friends he made it, and got stuck. so with a little help from his friends he got back on track. got a few pics of the day, uh, well , lets see if i can

and on up the road we go, pissin off some city boys in there foolsize trucks, and with a little help from their friends they got stuck. rarecj8 rolled in with the group, myself, chris an jake, snow ape (apes dont like snow) and sombody in a fairly stock jeep (don't recall who he was)

chris cut trail, rarecj8 finnish cut, and i followed, with the snow ape helpin the jeep up the trail. we didn't see chris for some time when we found him, stuck. it was startin to snow and we decided it was time to aim downhill. the jeep an the ape turned around to go back, but rarecj8, chris, and i dropped down onto the road that passes the ponds.

Sweet run guys...I was all set to go stayed up late night putting in axles and finishing off all the little things then woke up to a few feet of water running down the street...no biggie but while i grabbed a shower made coffee and loaded up some chips and dip i opened the door to a sidewalk to sidewalk deep flood....then my backyard flooded and i was like WTF!!! All in all at least it was a warm day and I got to play rockgods recovery vehicle for stuck cars!!!
