local spots

Looking to find a good place for mid day rides...need to be less than an hour long..like some small mx tracks..I wrok at Sierra PAcific on Neil so want something that im not burning up my whole time driving to...anyone got ant ideas?

there is a little place to play behind rattlesnake mt. access from Mccarren go right at the pit into the constuction area and about 1.5-2 miles down go left by the power station stage there head to lockwood, vc, sparks there is a track up there also

the pit up behind galena hs is ok for a little riding

mustang mx park in the spring

with a time restriction rattlesnake might be the best and closest

Is there a nice flat dry peice of ground near n.valleys? We still have almost 2' of snow out here. Its killing my 5 year old to just look at the pw50 I got him for x-mas. I dont ride just want to find a spot a can park a chair and watch him f around. Riding in the snow didnt work out too welll...

THERE IS AN MX TRACK IN THE BACK OF LEMMON VALLEY(THEY EVEN ACTUALLY RACE THERE...)BUT IT IS ONE ROUGH MUTHA!!!!ONE FAST LAP AND IM A HURT'N!!!ITS OUT PAST THE GO-CART TRACK AFTER LEMMON DRIVE TURNS INTO DIRT!!!

there is a place to ride off of pyrimid highway sorry if i didnt spell that right but u can sit in a chair and watch its just right there off the highway no motorcross tracks but its ok for a few hour ride or so some flats and some hills hope this helps.:Smile:
