YOU ARE SLIGHTLY THICK ON THE PINION SHIM,BUT I HAVE DONE A FEW TOY MINI TRUCKS AND GOTTEN THAT PATTERN WITH NO NOISE OR PROBLEMS....I HAVE BOOK AT THE SHOP THAT CAME WITH THE LAST SET OF GEARS I DID AND YOU HAVE AN ACCEPTABLE PATTERN.....BACK LASH AT 5-9 THOUSANTHS???IF SO I WOULD RUN IT!!!!:Big Grin:

I have the book that came with the Yukon gears. The pattern is almost perfectly centered face to flank, and is an acceptable pattern according to the Yukon chart. Backlash is at .008". I am going to install it tomorrow, thanks for the input.
