Now I am lookin at both of those and wondering why not use the stock mounting holes in the top of the radius arms and basically make the mount half...then gusset it back to itsel.

Because the radius arm flexes, and if it was bolted to the arm and welded to the axle, the thing will either bend or snap. Dentajeep had showed me a pic of his previous design, and it was the way you described.

I wasnt planning to weld it to the axle i was gonna notch the mount out so it wrapped the axle but was there just for support...like a leg basically still stay with the support on the bolt holes...hmmm you did put gears in motion though...

Notching it will only help in the roll of the axle, what about if the radius arms move side to side? Plus metal on metal is never good, along with two bolts keeping your coil from falling out. I know they should be more then plenty, but come on do you really want to die that bad? The design RokJeep has and DentaJeep copied is a simple, ideal solution,.

it is a simple idea but mine dont need to move near as much. I might just leave them alone...right now there is only two bolts holding the coils on..came that way factory. You are right about metal on metal. I might just get some larger flat plat and weld the coilbuckets to them then just bolt that to the radius arms. I only need to go over about a half an inch.
