A little late..

Following the typical shit for directions that come with pricey parts:

Why the fuck are three normal bolts holding the seat in, and the fourth is a star-bolt???

You have to slide the thing back & forth to get the bolts out, and then knock a couple of the studs out with a BFH.

Do not take off the seatbelt bolt, the directions LIE!!

The adapter plates are where the manual fails. Drink two beers so you don't get mad.

After it's said and done the new seats are about 1.5 to 2 inches higher than stock. Much better on the kidneys now, and they hold you in/feel better than any stock seat.

Following the ghetto creed of leaving tags on the hat:

I may enlist Dr. Smash to perform the lowering. Then my sons head can actually be inside the rollcage..for a year or so.

I gotta quit climbing up the Amazon wimmins.

I got the seats from TOR, and about 550 a piece because they are the reclining Baja seats, plus the seat adapters. You can order them with adjustable lumbar support +/- 69-129, and seat heaters for around 149.00.
Like Rockape said, good seats are a great investment. I would go so far as to group them with a good bed - 1/3 of your day is spent on them, so go comfy.

Looks good Kev. Have smash tie the seats into the roll cage like I did with mine.

If you got some time, could you throw a tape on them and measure how far from the bottom of the bracket to the top where you set your bottom?
Thanks.
