I've been a frequenter of mud and pirate and to a lesser extent reno4x4 for a while now. Saw a couple of links over here and was told the nv4500 tranny I was looking for was in the For Sale section :smile:. I live in Gardnerville and am a Firefighter/PM in Lake Tahoe with my main job is as a fire engine operator. I have an '81 Cj7 and a '71 FJ40 under construction.
While the LC is on 36's and mostly stock, straight 6, sm420 LC case, SOA, hysteer, discs future plans include 1 tons, 5.38, nv4500 or 700r4, TBI 350, Dana 300 twinsticked-HD outs-4:1. I have all of it but the tranny since I am still undecided.
The CJ7 is still SUA, 258, np435, Dana 20, axles ares stock with lockers f/r. This ride was really bought for the girlfriend so it will probably stay this way, although she wants an auto in it.
