We are starting off with extended 3/16 rocker guards and fabbing custom tube fenders out of 1 1/2" .134 wall d.o.m..The fastening plates are 1/4 at the fender well and 1/8 inch that wrap the front grill. The hood was cut approx. two inches to make more room for the 42"s we will be running. Here are some pics.

Ford HP ball joint 60 in the front narrowed to 65" WMS. Smooth bottom Ford van 60 in the rear narrowed to 65" WMS with equal length shafts and disc brakes. ARB's front and rear, 5.13 gears, 35 spline all around and CTM's in the front. We will also be doing a 4.3 Atlas II.

Nothing but the best for my girl.

Here are some pics of the tube fenders. As you can see without removing part of the hood and raising the fender line the 42's probably wouldn't work as well.

We are leaving for New Mexico to race in the second XRRA WEST event . We are going into this race Third in series points .Derek Trent will be spotting for Chris Ridgway in the #22 TRENT FABRICATION / TORCHMATE ROCK RACING BUGGY

We would also like to wish our good friends and Torchmate Teammates
Jesse Haines and Pat Gallagher RP FILMS
and Bill Kunz and Mike Shaffer
Good luck at the Browns valley Cal Rocs event this weekend.

Rockape and Radonkey will be competing together for the first time this weekend too ! We wish them the best of luck.

Wow we have a lot of local competitors !
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE THIS WEEKEND !

So we're at the New Mexico airport getting ready to come home. I hope we will be able to post some progress pics of Priscilla.

We finished 7th overall at the XRRA race at the Sandia raceway.Chris Ridgway was driving due to Derek breaking his back in MOAB.The race was tight and chris missed the Top Six shootout by only 16 seconds . We were VERY Happy with Chris's finish.Chris is an ex-motocross champion who has never competed in Rock Racing or Crawling in his life! .He will be competing in the X-games this year.Oh and did I mention Chris is an amputee He is an extrordinary person I hope at least some of you get a chance to meet this guy.He is usually with us at our events hopefully he will be at the Donner WE rock event.

I believe that the Trent Fab #22 Torchmate Team is still running 3rd in the Xrra series. They will release the results in a week or so.

Also I would like to thank Harry Wagner for having us over for dinner and hangin' with us in New Mexico.

Well I have some bad news for me :frown: the 42"s won't work  They are to big and will make my suspension geometry suck :frown: this means I also cannot get the :thbling: 20"s . I am still gonna run Allied Monster beadlocks because they take care of us and the wheels are :smoke: we still have the original wheels with no issues on the Rock Racer which ran KOH and 2 XRRA's so far. I will keep you posted on which tires I will run I'm leaning toward the MTR's because we already have

them.

Thanks,
-Lisa

We haven't adjusted the shocks at all and it probably will settle a bit besides I had to make sure it would clear the 42's on dubs  I will post some pictures of it when it is finished.
