need ideas , trying to cheaply flip a dana 300 and adptet it to a 700r4 i know i need a new input shaft in 27 spline i have a stock r4 addpter to a 241 my thought is i can get a clocking ring and a 27 spline input shaft and be farily close to bolt up , ps not buying a down east flip kit as i am going chape basted route , going to be running cable shifters and possaible down the road i will be running a box for rock or such but with the 241 not a 231 ? and all commets welcome miuns my abilty to spell or grammer .:eek:

o ya ps talked to adavce then wanna sell me there kit to run it in passger side drop not intrested , real nice folks to talk to , on they above i am thinking may be able to redrill if i have too ?

I JUST BOUGHT THE ADAPTER FOR MY TH350(SAME OUTPUT FLANGE AS A 700R...)AND MY STAK THREE SPEED WAS BOUGHT WITH A TH400 ADAPTER......SO I GOT NO IDEAS HOW TO DO IT CHEAP.....

OFF TOPIC....I DID BOLT ON DANA 300 TO A TF999 THAT HAD ORIGINALLY HAD A NP231......NO MODS AT ALL!!!!

from the look's of it only two things i should have to buy are 1 a 27 spline input for the dana 300 , wich it seems to be between 170-250 if i can find one .
and two a clocking ring abou5 3/4'' thick wich will 1 of two things make spline engmate not so good , and make the goffy angle of the trasfer case better after being flipped . all of this looks good on paper of course .
