Bob/dove tail on a 4runner

Well since I broke some shit in Lower Eldo I figured I'd start cutting some sheet metal. Wound up taking 11" off the back and bringing the side panels in 6" on each side. Got rid of the gate, bumper, vinyl and plastic crap that finished off the inside. Made some new interior panels and mounted my 6x9 up. While I was at it I installed to kicker 10s with a 1000w amp. I like my music....:mullet:

No going back now!! The funny thing is I read up on a few bobs but they are all pretty vague on details. There is not 1 specific way to bob as you know. So I just went along cutting and welding until I liked the look and it doesn't look hacked upped booty fab:throwup:

I started the dove mid quarter panel to allow the use of the rear seats. I had to shorten up the seat locks but still work like factory. This is not to crazy of a dove tail but will tighten the ass end up.

I still need to shorten the frame up a bit and box it up as it over hangs the springs. I will be going links eventually and will cut more off the frame to clean it up. Tacked and bondoed up the wheel wells. Hit em with some flat black until I figure out what colors to rattle can the bastard.

Installed the tank and fired her up Friday night. Moved her after new d line, tightened pinion nut, new ubolts, and blocks. (thanks Jeeper) Wound up installing a bumping system that night in the nissan in the garage.

Drove her around town to soccer and helping some friends move. Picked up a new LiL Will cb attener for the Cobra at TA over the weekend. Couple poser shots with everything buttoned up. Will build a diamond plate box around the tank and tool box of the 7" of space I now have.:thbling:
