So I've used this cell booster by Wilson Electronics for a few days now and I must say this thing is bad ass. I've got it set up with a mag mount roof antenna and have been using the wireless phone connection antenna inside the truck instead of the one you use velcro to secure to the back of your phone near its antenna. I hear with a perminent roof mount antenna and using the internal one that mounts to the phone you can get way better signal, but so far in town I haven't needed it. Place's i've gone where i've lost signal with ATT on my iPhone were over by Bullys Mount rose hwy, the dip on Thomas creek by the Galena Market, and going over double RR blvd by IGT. With the booster on I've had full bars at all those spots and still had full internet speed too.
I can't wait to see what this thing does out in the middle of nowhere when theres no signal, i've heard it can boost your signal to get an extra 50 miles of range.

thats a good question...what phone are you using? If your still planing on going on that run with Randy let me know, and I'll see if we can meet up and you can try it and see if it works.
