what gear oil do you use in your arb?

is royal purple the best thing to use?

I'd imagine it would be the same 80/90 weight. Royal Purple supposed to be a pretty good synthetic oil. Last longer and lubricate better. Stuffs to pricey for me. I just use valvoline 80/90 with my lock rite lockers.

IF YOU ARE GONNA DRIVE IT ON THE STREET ALOT I WOULD GO SYNTHETIC...IF ITS GONNA RIDE ON A TRAILER...THEN USE REGULAR OIL SINCE IT WONT ACTUALLY SEE ALOT OF MILES!!!!

well it might be a little of both. trailer to the big trails and back roads to the local ones. so then what about a little of lucas with the rest regular oil. i just want to make sure not to kill my 950.00 front investment to soon you know.

YEAH I HEAR YA....ARBS CAN BE A BIT OF AN INVESTMENT FOR SURE!!!!I JUST USE 80-90W BUT IT SEEs NO STREET USE.

oh it will see some like to twister and the moon rocks and just around town where i can get away with it :Big Grin: just not every day maybe once a week to keep the oil running.

there ya are talkin shit again. i use a thick dark beer called mudslide, comes in a broun jug. add a little fine sawdust to quiet it down and i'm good to go :mullet:
