Ive always wanted a classic car but never could afford one...I was checkin out some cars on victorian today I saw a f'n vw bug? wtf is that about? no matter how old it is it shouldnt be out on victorian...It was a nice bug and all but just didnt seem to fit...I've always wanted a late 70's trans am. They seem to be getting more popular out there.

my father in law has a 47 willys jeepster that he lets his wife run in hot august nights, we usally run twice a week down victorian ave, and then it gets parked at the GSR,
completly restored (frame off) he put a vortech V6 in it and a 4L60E tranny, it has 30,000 dollars worth of parts and paint (basically everything on the jeep) put on in the last two years. i can get some pics up tomorrow or the next day

I thinks I saw that, were they at Summit Mall on the 1st? There were a couple cool older Jeepsters, one with a 5.0 and one with a 4.3.

Been going since I moved here in 2000...
I usually take my 59 Ford. It really isn't anything special, but I have fun...
I rocked the Schaffer sticker a few years ago - most people didn't get it...

The suicide doors and three deuces catch alot of folk's eyes, and gets it more attention than it deserves...
http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa144/zebaru/59_2.jpg
Last year I put it on the dyno they had at GSR, and it puts a whopping 140 HP to the ground - watch out!

But that is attention it deserves...
I caught a huge rock off the back of a dump truck on I-5 just south of Eugene. It was one of those that makes you duck when you see it coming...
It took me forever to get it fixed, because, well - you try finding glass for a 59 ford... It aint like some tri five chevy that you can get parts for at 7-11.
There is a price for being different- and in this case I had to buy a complete parts car to get a replacement windshield.

I will be up there friday night and sat. night. I love classics. I've been helping my grandpa build up a 55 ford f-100 from the frame up. I will try and get some pics up later because it is intense. Also, this is my pops classic but i dont think we will be taking it up to reno.. not this year anyway.

Thanks guys i appreciate the compliments. I myself am not a ford guy either. That mustang and the 55 that my grandpa is building are about the only fords i really like. My dad use to have a 70 ss chevelle drag car which was killer but he had to either sell that or the stang, and he couldnt part with the stang b/c it was his first high school car.... i bust his balls about it all the time though
