Taking Guns to School

I dont see a problem and it probably wont be unless someone gets a hold of the teachers gun and shoots someone or if a teacher flips out...only way to counter violence is to have the means neccassary to stop it. people arnt so quick to attack when they know there is a very real possibility that they will get killed before accomplishing anything. I did a report back in college on gun control and I took the view point of comparing reported deaths in the "wild West" to current times and I made some accurate calculations between population and people killed by guns and in the supposed lawless times of the west there was almost 10 times less killings...why??? Cause everyone or most everyone carried a gun and had the means to defend themselves. :Big Grin:

I actually agree with you 100%. On that same link there's related articles and pictures of people complaining about the same point -- banning guns only increases gun violence. Banning something makes people feel empowered when THEY get a hold of it, and will utilize it to prove as much. I think idiots will be less likely to go into a bar ready to shoot someone if they knew a lot more people are able to carry. Just like that Winnemucca (?) bar shooting where a guy actually had a concealed weapon on him and shot the shooter...

I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH A TEACHER HAVING A GUN...AS LONG AS THEY CAN USE IT...AND KNOW HOW.

YEAH IM THE GUY WHO ALWAYS BAGS ON THESE PEOPLE WITH CARRY PERMITS WHO FEEL THEY NEED TO FLAUNT IT.......IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE THEY ARE COWARDS AND HIDE BEHIND THE FACT AND MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS "I HAVE A GUN,DONT FAWK WITH ME".MY THOUGH ON A CONCEALED WEAPON WAS IT TO BE CONCEALED....TO KEEP PEOPLE GUESSING!!!!

YEAH GIVE THE TEACHERS GUNS AND TRAINING,HELL LET THEM WEAR IT ON THEIR HIP...AT LEAST THEN SCHOOLS WONT BE SUCH AN EASY TARGET FOR THE SOCIAL OUT CASTS TO ATTACK.
