Im new here but have wheeled with a few members. I went down to the hammers back in March and met up with Sierra valley, coronel mustard, Brian D. and Big red Dodge. Today I was reading under the events section and saw that there is another trip planned and was hoping to join in. Just wanted to post here first to say hello and introduce myself.

Welcome, I like that Cage a lot! Seems like headroom is a bit low, but I don't imagine you aren't in danger of rolling that thing very often, if ever!

Thanks for the welcoming guys! Yeah, thats my rig. Timmy at all pro fab (Trailwize) in Turlock built the rig. I bought it from him about a year and a half ago.
Yeah, I guess I like to keep it clean. haha!
Cage is a bit low. I do wear a helmet because I got tired of hitting my head on the cage. OUCH! I agree, I like the way he bends up his cages.
As for the lockers. I am using the factory unimog 404 lockers. I will try to get some pics but in the mean time I will try to explain. The factory lockers on both axles have a steel tab on the top of the axle. There are air actuated celenoids that turn the steel tabs about 1/4 turn and that is how they lock up. I'll see if I can find a pic.
Those pics are great! That was on Highway 20 (hells gate) I think? What an awesome time that was! I am looking forward to making out this october with you guys. I have a baby on the way so I will have to play it by ear as it gets closer.
Thanks!
Harold.

Im in the process of putting 404s under my jeep. Debating weather to use air or cable to engage the locker. Any problems with air?

Same problems as an ARB potentially, Air Source, Lines, and Fittings.
Wasn't PJ having some problems with his staying locked? Or was that Mechanical?

No problems with using the air locking celenoids soo far. I have the Kilby engine mounted compressor and a small maybe 1.5 gallon tank. I will have to bring a camera home from work so I can take some pics.
