It's out Pyramid highway northeast of Winnemucca Ranch Rd where you turn off to go to the moonrocks. A few miles past that you'll come upon a billboard that marks the border of the indian reservation, just north of this sign is a dirtroad that comes off pyramid right after you cross over a small drainage canal. Follow these roads up north and it'll lead you into a small canyon, that's steve's loop.

Do you know where pig rock is? Its the canyon that starts out pretty wide in the beginning and is a big sandy wash bed. You head up in a bit further and you will see pig rock and keep going past that and it will head into steves loop.
