Hey everyone. I heard about this site from the DodgeForum site. I've been looking for a site just like this too. The reno section is actually active! Anyway just thought I'd introduce myself. Not really seasoned off roader but I get around. I'm 22 and I have 3 trucks, but only two if them are 4x4. I have an 02 dodge with the cummins, and a 78 Chevy that has a four inch lift and 33's. I bought it from a friend awhile back, the motor is built for mid-upper RPMs, and the tranny is kinda the same. Needs skid plates too since it is naked underneath. Anyway back to lurking.

I only have pics of my F100 and Ram. But i will get some as soon as I can. I'll give ya link to my photobucket, and theres an old F100 that people here might be interested in for parts. The work done to it is pretty cool. 9" rear converted to coils, looks to me 6-8 of lift, someone put like a homemade rockgard under the diff..

here are the pics... the power wagon I started tearing apart when i was 15. Dad was dumb to let me do that. But one of these days Im just gonna find an old Ram 250 with the 12v cummins and do a body swap. Im trying to load them to the thread but not sure how to make it work yet.. so trail by error.

Now I assume we are talking tires. Nube here lol :gapteeth: If we are then I would disagree. I think no more then 44 would good. Gotta take into account the fenders (which are on the back of the truck). A year maybe two ago there was a guy in that was on the cover of one the main four wheel drive mags who that had an article about a guy with a 63. Had an old hemi motor out of an motorhome that he modified and cleaned up. The truck was Orange.
Oh speaking of what I'm talking have you seen that black M-37 with the star on the side with swampers driven by the old guy? He lives off Ax Handle but its his daily driver so maybe someone has seen him too. If I remember correctly his name is Tom? Anyway long of the short is full 3/4 ton Chevy running gear with a 454 roller cam, tires i think where 39 or 42... Can't remember.

These trucks right here are just sexy... Both of them have a cummins in them. From the factory my Power Wagon has 5:83 gears. I'd have to look at see what low ratio in the t-case is, but tached out the truck wont go more then a 1/2 mile an hour. And just like the new PWs they would come from the factory with military non-directional 33" tires.

I thought that Joe's big rig was a M-715?? I bought a set of rear buckets for my 40 from him awhile back, and my buddy bought his sons black Cherokee. He seemed like a cool cat, got some cool rigs!

Well as far as I know those Dodge military trucks where M-37, but I could be wrong, which happens alot. never met his son, or seen the Jeep, but joe was always a cool guy to talk to. Our relationship was very professional except when I'd ask him how his truck was, and go drool on it instead of getting his building supply orders ready lol. He told me though that if he did it different he would just swap the body because the torque of the motor has cracked the frame a few times.

Yep, you got it! As soon as I saw the picture it hit me. The canvas top for the back is tits! I can't remember what that yellow one was, he has about a million rigs up there. All I remember was it was on D60's, 37 boggers, SBC and an atlas. While I was up there getting the seats from him, I was busier trying to find all the 1 tons he had laying around.........must be nice.........he was selling the gray jeepster on craigslist a few weeks ago.

Lol hey those old dodges are the best penis extender there is.. That truck stock goes places some mild lifted trucks wouldnt dream. Youtube those things.
What is that orange thing? early 70s chevy?
As for my Chevy, like I said its biggest draw back is lack of gears (i hate when people dont regear after a lift), and skid plates on the bottom. Plus I hate those BFG A/Ts. Quiet possibly the worst tire I have ever had. The F150 I gave to my bro has some Yokahoma A/Ts i put on there 2 years ago, and they work great in the snow and mud, not the BFGs.

I thought my wife's 04 Yukon was a prerunner once and ripped the valence off, does that count? She explained to me that it wasn't a prerunner, and that she wasn't happy with me. I explained to her that I was practicing for Baja, but she told me they don't let the racers drink Pabst during the race........What the fuck does she know?:gapteeth:

lol Dodge huh? Sometimes they all look the same to me. They where so competitive that their body styles where insync with them selvs. Kinda if you look at a 92 ford truck, and a 99 dodge interieror they have the same basic shape ect. just ford seems to set the trend and the rest (except chevy which still have that 80's square dash thing goin on) follow suit. What model dodge is it anyway?

I would think that piecin a prerunner suspension together would be rather hard, since none of the manufacturers sell just springs, or just control arms, ect. Kore you can at least get front kit, and rear kit separately. Carli would be a good front setup but I've ready Kore has the better rear set up. Less axle hop and fish tailin.
