I hate introductions but one has to start somewhere,
I'm a member on several sites, & recieved a PM saying I should check this one out, I have to say it looks pretty cool, ( and some what local)
My location is rural northern NV, I have several friends in Reno/sparks that want me to pay a visit & do some wheeling, looks like this site has a lot of people that are in the know on all the good spots in that area,
I recognize a few screen names here so for some I guess this is not much of an introduction, more of an "oh great that guy again"
Any way hope to meet some of you in person on one or more of your trails,

Rural is Golconda, about 15 miles east of winnemucca, it's not to bad, but some city folk would think we're the Clampets out here,

Welcome to the board. I've been watching your build on pirate and cant wait to see your rig in action sometime soon. Think you need to bring it on over to Bronco Canyon and give it a shot.

No not at this time, I'm fairly new to the rocks so I'm still learning the tricks, I'm also still working the bugs out of the machine, water might come in handy, but it already weighs 5500 lbs

IF IT FEELS LIKE IT IS GETTING FRONT END LIGHT ON STEEP CLIMBS....WATER WILL BE A BIG IMPROVEMENT!!!I RESISTED FOREVER,BUT ONCE I DID IT IM A FIRM BELIEVER.

I was just thinking it could be helpful in the front with you having most of your weight in the rear. Then again that front axle and tires are pretty heavy themselves.

you say that like its a bad thing..only thing better would be a titty bar. And there is something nice about hearing your rig ripping around in the open country....wonder how loud its gonna be when your bouncing that sound of canyon walls!

No, not a bad thing at all, just stating facts,

It is cool out here, since I rarely load the buggy to go wheeling, just drive out of town, there are a couple good spots withing 5 miles of the house, with plenty of non county mantained roads to get there.

we were out there last month moving 785 haul trucks from battle mountian to winemucca, and had to drive through galconda to bypass a bridge, and after seein the outside of the bar I don't think you'd want a strip club in that town. :Big Grin: but winnemuccas close and its got a whore house :gapteeth:

I went with a stock EFI 460, & it has worked great, I could not be any happier, I did finally figure out what was giving me fits with the holley C-950, but I'm happy with the stock stuff, so the holley injection will probably go on another project I am working on,
