well the place that did our last round of shirts informed me when i picked them up she was getting out of the business. And for some reason hoodies jump up to ridiculous prices. Which I don't understand since hoodies blank only run around 7 bucks. Most companies arnt designed to do small batches and the "setup" fees are what kills the deal.

If you order them in bulk then they would all go to that address. 10 bucks isn't bad for the shirt. We paid about that before, plus we had setup fees. The fees should all be included in the shirt price. Ill get in touch with tfab and see if i cant get them made locally so that we can accomplish two things, support local business and see one before we order 24...lol Plus I curious if they could do it on black.

you should be able to get them printed on a variety of colors etc... I do when I order our union shirts... Blue if you have the art work, shoot it to me and I can see what Mike (custom Caps etc) can do... color changes on the logo isn't usually an issue to accomidate darker colors

i've used Mike over at Custom Caps, Shirts, etc. for over 20 years for business & personal. i ruin crap all the time, and sometimes the first time i wear it (just my type of business) and he let me buy shirts, sweatshirts, etc elsewhere and bring to him and he silkscreened. don't know if he'll still do it. he always seemed reasonable as long as you could get in the 36-48 quantity or more range.

don't matter to me. Mike is about 3 blocks from MY business. had some time today so ran over to check. I've done artwork for several projects like i said.

either way. let me know if i can, or you want help. artwork, handling, etc. I tend to be "picky" about artwork, and how stuff looks, to the point of being "anal" about it sometimes - so i always like to handle it myself.

its probably about time i drag the vinyl cutter out and set it up. i've promised a few people stickers.

the problem with the TRG/Flames sticker is the tips of the flames obviously come to a point - this makes the ends pron to peeling up easy. it helps to take a razor blad and just bluntly cut them off, or round them. i may just take the time and change the artwork to do that.

but to answer your question - no, not right now. what do you mean by small? most of the vinyl i have is 14" wide, so that makes nice small ones, unless you run it "landscape".

OK, Mrburns has handed this off to me. Hopefully with an existing relationship with Custom Caps, etc. and they are right around the corner from my business I can keep this going and get it done ASAP.

First of all, from past experience i know i'm not going to make everyone happy, so just roll with it!

I played around with the TRG logos. IMO, the more rescent logo that is on the "front" page of the site is not that recognizable as is the "THEROCKGODS.COM" that is on the top of EVERY page you pull up. personally i never see the "front" page anymore anyhow - i go right to the forum list. I also think the logo needed some recognizable color, just like pirate4x4 has used green for ever.

So here are a few samples of what i came up with. you could say i'm kinda "flamed" out to some degree, so i'm leaning towards something like "BACK2". I came up with a "TRG" version of it to put on the front/center that includes "reno, nevada" and "first edition" to identify the home town and that you've got THE FIRST EDITION sweat shirt.

keep in mind, not everyone will be happy, but what are your opinions. i'd like to nail this down, take about 1-2 weeks to take orders, then get them made.

lastly, logos BACK2 & BACK3 use 4 colors in all. this will change the price some but IMO it is well worth it and we'll have some great lookin' swag here!

i like the 3rd back because if the flames that are on it. ive always like the sleeve design since ive seen them on the stickers and such. the front logo is also cool, like the "first edition" makes you feel special :gapteeth:

to clarify the color (if we go that way): to somewhat match the color on the website it would be more towards the "gold" side than the "bright yellow" side. if you look on this page at the colors, it is a "bleed" so the color on the sweatshirts would be somewhere in the middle. BUT TRUST ME, NOT CHICKEN OR HOMO LIKE!

I tihnk I might clean up the home of the hardcore nation. In smaller text it doesnt look as clean. What program are you using Bryan? I am using adobe photoshop. I created everything on separate layers to make things easier.

go ahead and shot me those photoshop files. according to Corel, it is showing Adobe Photoshop import files as .PSD

you might also see if you can save/export in .CDR and send to me as well. most of these graphics programs seem to go both ways just for this reason. i've been using Corel since version 3 (almost 20 years ago, now using 10) and am most proficient in.

i checked up on the artwork yesterday. mike hadn't done anything with yet (kinda pissed me off). i think with slower business his artwork person may not be full time. anyhow, i hopefully moved it along. hope to get prices asap and start up the "order" page while i finalize the artwork.
