So I picked this rig up a week ago to replace my truck as my tow rig. More room for parts!!! LOL
Had a bad motor. Heres the motor going in it. The one in the background is for my jeep.:Big Grin:

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET SOME DECENT HEADER GASKETS NOW!!!!THE PAPER ONES THAT COME WITH CHEAP HEADERS ALWAYS BRING THE SUCK!!!!

I already did. Replaced them with some nice stainless ones. I hate exhaust leaks. I also yanked those stupid smog tubes out of the headers. These are pretty thin headers but they will do for now. The one thing I did learn since I havent been around a chevy for a long time is that the heads are different...the one motor has the angle centerbolts on the intake and the one im putting in has flat center bolts..I was planning to use the other motor for the suburban but the intake wouldnt fit...well its a 4 bolt so ill rebuild it for the jeep.
