When I was doing up the CJ's driveshafts...they took care of me pretty good, so they will be getting the YJ's business as well....

GOOD DEAL. I'VE DEALT WITH HIGH ANGLE DRIVELINE IN THE PAST AND HAD GOT EXCELLENT SERVICE, BUT I REALLY LIKE THE IDEA OF A LOCAL SHOP THAT CAN BUILD GANGSTA DRIVESHAFTS. AND BY GANGSTA DRIVESHAFTS, I DON'T MEAN THE 1310 GEAR ROCKAPE USES :mullet:

GOOD TO HEAR! i'll give them a try. i need to get rid of some toy CV's, and get a spare made up. i actually noticed i twisted the splines on my rear driveshaft last weekend at moonrocks - is that even possible with a toy tcase? I GUESS IT'S HOLDING UP SO FAR.

BUMPING THIS BACK UP!!!!
SINCE MY RIG WAS OVER DUE FOR SOME DRIVELINE UPGRADES AFTER THE TRIP THROUGH UPPER BRONCO.......
I TOOK BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR OVER TO BAYSHORE AND HAD THEM UPGRADE THE REAR TO .250 TUBE(FROM .095 THAT ANOTHER SHOP FIGURED WAS GOOD FOR CRAWLING.... ). AND MAKE A NEW LOWER SECTION FOR THE LONG SLIP FRONT THAT HAD STARTED TO TWIST!!!
BOTH PIECES ARE STOUTER AND READY TO BE GENTLY BEAT AGAINST ROCKS!!!:gapteeth:
IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF A DRIVELINE GO CHECK BAYSHORE OUT!!!! MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM YOU ARE A ROCKGODS MEMBER AND HOW YOUR RIG GETS ABUSED!!!!

What part of it broke? Got pics?
I've got a square tube front shaft on the FJ40. It's seems strong as hell, but I'd like to have something balanced for the street.

we still have a few tools left to get to speed up the thick wall tubing process, but we've learned a lot recently on doing these drivelines. To be honest, iin the past, the demand for such drivelines was so small, it wasn't practical to tackle em. Now that we've experimented with what works and what doesn't (both of which we learned a couple weekends back) we shouldn't have many issues.
and hey, next time you break a dvl, can you do it when not so many people are looking!! heh. That dvl would have been plenty stout for any renoxj'er
