Kinda last minute, but with upcoming mothers day, and boys wheelin' UB next weekend, thought i better get the family out and play.

gonna go ride Sand Mountain for the day. Kids on quads, and last minute unloaded the Prowler, and put the buggy in (since SO CONVIENANTLY my spare, 2.28:1 tcase is installed). threw the BBQ in, and brought enough food for dinner too - WEATHER LOOKS BITCHIN'!!!

looks like SLVRBCK is gonna come out with his family. any and all welcome. usually head straight out from the second bathrooms. look for us, white F350, Taupe enclosed, and probably only rock buggy in sight.

a quick report - SLVRBCK flipped the buggy giving his son a ride and the base of "drag hill" and went to Fallon Hospital. Chris Jr. appeared to be OK, but Sr. looks like he put a dzeus tab through his arm. last i talked to him he was getting it Xray'd. BLOOD AND SHIT EVERYWHERE! Meat hangin' i don't do well with blood - IT WAS GROOSE!

i'll let him give the damage report later.

Update,

just checked my phone this morning. Chris texted me and apparently not broken arm, but dislocated and gashed BAD - puncture wound from dzeus tab. They transported him to Reno around 1am sunday and Orthopedics had to do surgery to fix muscle and tendon.

Is he a good friend of yours? I don't think I'd have the balls to do anything semi dangerous with anyone elses buggy, even my closest friends.

Hope his arm turns out ok, and all that blood washes out of your buggy! :mullet:

just got home, i'll post some pics tomorrow sometime. we werent doin anything crazy, just blipped it and it caught an edge. my arm flew out n got trapped underneath. i thought it was broken, but it was just the muscle that was a mess. the dzues fast. tab ripped my bicep muscle, leaving a gapping hole about an inch deep. the surgeon had to reconstruct that part of the muscle and the tendon.

that's about all the 1 handed, pain pilled typing i can handle.......

I ALMOST LOST MY BREAKFAST after looking at those pics! Damn, that looks sore!

finally unloaded the buggy before headin' to work this morning. besides SAND BEING EVERYWHERE, really only looks like it got the plastics (roof & hood), and the air cleaner. So, pretty easy fix.

Now everytime i'm at SM i'll be known as the rock buggy that rolled at the base of drag hill IN FRONT OF EVERYONE!:Big Grin:

OH, Chris; i found a HUGE pair of black Crocs in the buggy too.

yeah, i look the same to me to, just usually i'm lookin like that after alot of beer......at least there isnt any hangover from a morphine drip!!!:gapteeth:

that seems to be the only thing wrong. just a little worried about the muscle and tendon healing up right. i dont know how my arm came out though. i am usually the one hollering at people to keep their arms in the rigs> i was holding the bar but my arm was inside, guess it got slung out during the roll

i'm glad all is well with the buggy bryan. let me know the cost of that k&n and the skins and we will get squared up. if there is anything else, lemme know. i'll get it cleaned up too. i feel fawking aweful about all of this. those iroks really bite good in the sand at 5 lbs!!

enough 1 handed typing for now, the pain killers just kicked back in and im a lil off my rocker....:Big Grin:

Everything is good, I have to go to base med tomorrow so they can put me on convalesent leave. That will be at least until Friday, that's when I go back to see the surgeon. All is well though, the saving grace is that I sit at adesk anyways.

im pretty sure he is right handed so dont think that would help him much...but if he is :thmasturbanana: then he will have to use the left for :drink: and twelve ounce flexs can do alot for a speedy recovery!!!

Oh, I do save them. I have a pair of 35 gal trash cans in the garage, one for beer cans, the other for trash.....guess which one gets emptied out the most??? I usually donate them, but maybe I should keep the ones that are in there now and make me a Tin Man body armor get up!!:gapteeth:
