2 PROJECTS ONE EASY ONE AND ONE MORE DIFFICULT BUT TOTALLY DO-ABLE AT HOME WITH A MIG AND A CHOP SAW!!!!

EASY...

wHEN i ORIGINALLY BUILT MY TWO SEAT RIG i WAS IN SUCH A HURRY TO GET OUT AND WHEEL IT I DIDNT DO MUCH FOR A MUFFLER(CLAMP-ON SUPERTRAPP.....:frown:) THIS THING MADE MY BUGGY SOUND LIKE A TRACTOR.....

OLD SET-UP--->SOUNDED LIKE THIS.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qu-DGgSXMDo

http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af156/chassisworxs/100_3873.jpg

USING SOME OF THE ORIGINAL PIECES AND A BRAND SPANKIN NEW HEADMAN GLASSPAK...

http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af156/chassisworxs/100_3874.jpg

NEW ASSEMBLY THAT GOES RIGHT BACK IN!!!

http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af156/chassisworxs/100_3877.jpg

I DONT HAVE A NEW VID TO LET YA HEAR IT BUT IT SOUNDS MUCH BETTER AND RUNS BETTER AS WELL,GRANTED I DID SWAP THE PCM AT THE SAME TIME SO THAT MAY HAVE HELPED THE POWER SITUATION!!!!

PROJECT #2!!!
1968 CHEVY SB TRUCK 2WD!!!

PARTS...

THREE 48" STRAIGHT 2.5" EXHAUST TUBING
SIX EX PIPE UNIONS
THREE U-BENDS FROM SUMMIT RACING
TWO THRUSH FLOWMASTER-LIKE MUFFLERS

STARTING FROM THE HEADERS BACK...
http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af156/chassisworxs/100_3878.jpg
http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af156/chassisworxs/100_3879.jpg
http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af156/chassisworxs/100_3882.jpg

NOW WITH THESE TRUCKS EXHAUST IS A LITTLE TRICKY DUE TO THE TRUCK ARM REAR SUSPENSION....YOU NEED TO HAVE A 90-ISH DEGREE BENT SECTION GO STRAIGHT UP IN THE REAR AND QUICKLY DO ANOTHER 90 DEGREE BEND SO YOU CAN FIT THE MUFFLERS UP TIGHT UNDER THE BED...

http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af156/chassisworxs/100_3881.jpg

MUFFLERS...EVEN LOOK LIKE FLOWMASTERS!!!!
http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af156/chassisworxs/100_3880.jpg

NICE AND TIGHT UNDER THE BED WITH TURN DOWNS THAT EXIT JUST IN FRONT OF AND BELOW THE REAR AXLE TUBE...
http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af156/chassisworxs/100_3883.jpg

AGAIN I DIDNT GET A VID TO LET YA HEAR IT BUT I CAN IF YOU WANT TO KNOW....BUT THESE THINGS SOUND REALLY GOOD....NOT QUIT THE DEEP BASS TONE A TWO CHAMBER FLOWMASTER HAS ABOVE IDLE BUT VERY CLOSE IN SOUND EVERYWHERE ELSE!!!

A SIDE NOTE FOR RADDONKEY.......INSTEAD OF BUTT WELDING THE CONNECTIONS I USED THE TUBE SPLICES AT ALMOST ALL OF THE JOINTS......PARTLY DUE TO THIS TRUCK AND SYSTEM GOING BACK TO MINNESOTA!!!!

REALLY CLOSE...ILL GET A CLIP WITH MY CAMERA AND POST IT.

THEY ARENT AS LOUD AT IDLE AS A TWO CHAMBER FLOWMASTER,BUT SOUND VERY CLOSE EVERYWHERE ELSE.

I PLAN TO USE THEM ON MY ELCO......$60 FOR THE PAIR IS A GOOD DEAL!!!

instead of butt welding, and buying a slip fit tube thing, couldn't you just use a tail pipe expander? oh and you have a lift, you suck.

I gota say I miss marty and danny. Danny was the only guy that could get my old IFS chevy with the procomp lift to go straight down the road and not wear tires funny.

YEAH YOU COULD USE AN EXPANDER....BUT THEY PRETTY MUCH SUCK UNLESS THEY ARE ATTACHED TO A ACTUAL EXHAUST TUBE BENDER........

I always wondered that, cause I bought some cornwell ones when I had my fo-runner cause I built my own ghetto ass exhaust with free parts :gapteeth: They were made to be used with an impact gun though and looked like they might be kinda easy to work with.
