Nice driving as always Derek. Way to keep the rubber side down. Is that a new water system to help prevent forest fires? Or is it to help keep your spotter cool? Hope rockape did good. He worked hard this season and excepot for a few hiccups he was defiantly in the hunt.

ROCKAPE broke his transmission on Sunday. The courses were pretty tough. Almost everyone in ProMod rolled at least once. Most of them twice.

T-Fab won the event and series championship for SuperMod. Brian Whitford won the ProMod series.

AFTER SATURDAY HAD T OBRING THE RIG HOME ,CUT OFF THE STINGER,SPLICE IN A NEW PIECE OF TUBE BETWEEN THE A AND B PILLARS,REPLACE BOTH FRONT SHOCKS,FIX NAIL IN TIRE,FIX T-CASE SHIFTERS,FIX TRANS OVERFLOW...HJAUL BACK UP FOR SUNDAY....

FIRST COARSE......RIG MADE A POP AND SEEMED LIKE IT WAS RUNNING LIKE SHIT...OK SCORE....BUT FOUND OUT TRANS BELL HOUSING HAD BROKEN....:pissed2: RATCHET STRAPPED BACK UP...
SECOND COARSE....TRANS BROKE THE REST OF THE WAY,TAKING OUT THE SECTION OF THE PAN RAIL AND HAD SERIOUS CONTAINMENT OF FLUID ISSUE-DNF
THIRD COARSE...DNS
FOURTH....DNS

IT WAS A SERIOUSLY ROUGH WEEKEND...AND IM PRETTY SURE MY OLD RIG WAS PISSED AS THIS IS HER LAST COMP WITH ME BEHIND THE WHEEL....BUT ON THE UPSIDE I NOW HAVE A REASON TO SWAP OUT THE BLING D300/TRANS AND GET TO BUILDING MY NEW RIG!!!!

Team Mello took second for the series in ProMod, driving off the wicked A2 drop-off FORWARDS, breaking the passenger rear wheel, and still finishing the course! It must be nice to have sponsors.

Team Tilton took third for the series in ProMod.

Damn man that brings the suck...it does seem that once you get ready to put a rig out to pasture stuf seems to implode...maybe the rigs way of saying F you man. Sounds like Chicken wing was just pointing and saying "uh try that line and we will see how it works???" Look forward to seeing you compete next year in the new rig.

I wasn't just telling him to point and shoot, we just tried some stuff and it didn't work out for us. I really hate the tranny broke yesterday...we crawled the 1st gate of the 1st course with ease instead of using throttle like the rest....trans breaks.....trans really breaks on course 2 and we were outta the hunt. I had a good feeling about Sunday too, fucking sucks!!

We will take it to them next year with the new buggy!!!!

I think it was more of the curse of the soon to be sold car biting you guys..racing at watsonville there were no rollovers all season. three cars had for sale signs on the last race of the season..two rolled and one had a head on into the wall....

Jeremy and Chris this weekend was a tough break. I did however have a buyer for that buggy but when I told Lanny of all the issues you had he backed out. Just kidding I didnt tell him...hurry up and fix it he still may buy it.
Hope to see you guys there next season. But I think chicken wing is going on a long fishing trip with his job so he might not be there huh? I'll spot for you Jeremy...I can make you roll and get hung up like evey other spotter you've had this season!:mullet:

Derek and Joey did win !!! :Big Grin: It was awesome . I was happy to be able to watch them from the outside . Being Derek's spotter is awesome but watching from the sidelines is something else .

Some of you may know there were only 2 points that seperated Derek and Joey from 1st place and then there were only few points seperating 2nd from third for the season. Needless to say these guys were there to win . The competition was fierce and it came right down to the last obstacle . The championship Title and the win didn't come easy for them . My hat's off to Joe the Toe , He is an awesome spotter , and well some other items will come off for Derek :eek: Great Job guys!!!!!!!!! Derek................I love you more than everything .

If only Jeff did have any sponsors:frown: Besides BFG, and a couple other guys helping out with parts, Jeff does this all out of pocket, but he just picked up FOA as a product sponsor, so exspect the buggy to have some bling ass shocks for KOH 2010:Big Grin:

As for my weekend, it was a great weekend (minus two courses on Saturday that I rolled on), and after finding out that my shifter bent, and I was in 2nd gear all day saturday, I know why I rolled...I just thought the engine was tired, and wanted to give up:pissed2:
I had two great courses on Saturday (low score on both) and four great courses on Sunday...but not enough to catch Mello for the weekend...we both ran away from the rest of the group on Sunday, and with Jeremy breaking early, it was a battle for 2nd place in the series....Mello pulling off the win sealed the deal for him;)

All in all, it was a fantastic season, I haven't had this much fun in a long time, and I really enjoyed the friendships I have made over the last season with you guys:gapteeth:

Bring it for next season....hopefully I will have a new car too, cause the ol ranger is Trashed, with a capitol T:frown:
