heres some pic of the trail repair on the 25th july 09 ,also if you dont know they cut a trail in from cisco grove camp ground to eagle lake road, its steep loose and fun, we ran the trail afterwards flows at 250 commity pretty deep with only 36s

I ran into the trail commity the fallowing weakend and thanked them profusely for that repare. with as wide as the buggy is that spot scared me. the water was flowing at 370 that weakend and BOY WAS IT COLD.

as you can see i took the crossing alittle fast,opps, also i am trying to u tube footage of us zipp linging a new bombadeir quad a cross the same spot, funny shit, winch line hooked and strap to trees on both sides, gurned quad with snap block, see problems yet, no we got quad a cross with out water ingestion

actually it sounds like some good solid rigging. two straps or chains on the quad hanging from two snatch blocks should have made it an easy job. hell, a guy could have sat on the quad and hand pulled it across.:gapteeth:

from the title i thought this was a thread about a rig fix!!!!
Good job on the trail repair...someday ill have a rig that I wanna drive through deep water!!!!

The repair really made a difference. There's a good camp site just past that spot we use to call the Pucker camp. We'll have to find a new name now.
They were working on a by pass around the 6.5 mile area Saturday. From what I could see it looks like it will be a gas. Plus it will eliminate the dusty/muddy section under the trees.

there is a new by-pass called 'cedar sluice'??? and a lot more. pix here. also, time to go is now since they're draining the lake.

The water was a dad high for a POS like my rig last weekend. This is the second water crossing.
