We'll be at the south river crossing Fri/Sat then hit Upper Blue Lakes to the Elephants back over Carson Pass to Strawberry Trail on Sunday, then home along west shore Tahoe. Nice, scenic trail with a few moderate challenges but river-side camping in the trees is fun. For all those web-wheelers that want to come out and actually put tire to dirt, ur all invited. My small caravan leaves Reno Friday morning (meet cattleman's 8:30am) and a number of others roll in all thru the night.
Possible side-run down to Slickrock, then back up Hermit Ridge to base camp.
wheel or stay home...
Tim? Raji? Big Boob...oops, Blue? Cash $?
All welcome.

right on bro, do what u can but always be safe. we're also looking at dusy-ershim and barret lake trails later this year, so stay tuned. These trails usually don't interest the hard-core krewe, but they do offer great scenery and moderate challenges. Fine camping and other attractions.

Wish I could make it Mark, but good news I got the word that my axles finally came in today so hopefully I can get them in this weekend and have my rig back to wheelable status. It woulda been nice to go though especially since me and Daves (the kid that works for me with the red old school bronco) were talking about doing the same trails on laborday weekend and neither one of us has ever been.
