I get off the 24th at 8am in Susanville. I can be home and ready to go wheel by 10am on the 24th. Maybe we can do something local like Steves Loop that way I dont miss out or I can catch up pretty easy if you decided to have the trail run early!

Yeah T-fab only caters to the fabbing challenged web wheelers....and I just re-read my post...it dont say nothing about dragging me thru on my top!!!! I plan to just show up at the trail. Too far to drive all the way to town then to drive out to steves loop when I can sneak in the backdoor the way catalyst and 4x4babe like it!

You guys are always hatin' The trail is Steve's loop . It is almost all the way to Pyramid Lake..............It's Purty! We will meet at Summit Racing at 8am .There is a BBQ at our shop at 5pm please show up and represent therockgods as I can see the ship is clearly sinking...or is it?

Just a recap This Saturday the 24th of October we meet at Summit Racing at 8a.m. . We hand out the goodie bags , sign waivers , fill out giveaway vouchers We leave Summit by 9a.m. and i anticipate hitting the trail head any where between 9:30 and 10 a.m. We start the run at 10a.m. .My goal is to have everyone off of the trail by 3p.m. after the trail run we meet at Trent Fabrication located at 34 Hardy dr. in Sparks NV. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&so...=h&z=4&iwloc=A

yeah, steve's loop, the ass-end of endless trail put-downs and other jabs, but: TFab is hosting an event that brings us all together for a run all may enjoy, get out, not spin a tire and otherwise get away from the house/mouse/cell routine, etc. Props to Lisa for bringing this gig together-- it's hard to lead a run that has wide appeal and not a trail that mandates a trailer to do the event.

Clint Jolly with Butcher Boy is a personal friend and he presents a fine delicious menu, so the TFab post-run BBQ further reflects their committment to and faith in the 4x4 community.

lol...well my heep made it thru so i was happy. Only a semi cluster fawk. Just too many rigs and unfortunately a bunch of rigs werent really ready for that. But overall was stillfun. I made it home just in time to change and leave for football. Was cool to see everyone. That new rig is super clean jeeper. I dont know who had it worse the rigs that blew thru then sat around the rest of the day or the guys at the end who just sat waiting for their turn to just blow thru it.

i told you before...you used flat black not gloss black and that made the rig unhappy...also you didnt fully armor all everything so that again angered the rig...ill get you Air Sierra number so he can let you know how to properly prep and baby a trail rig.

And Rockape like you really forgot I was there..thats messed up...whats a brother gotta do to get any frigin respect. Hopefully next year the will organize the rigs according to the capability..and they will mandate a three attempt rule...or a five minute timeout...that would have seriously helped.

I saw it but couldnt find you to comment on it. I like it..but i got rockcrusher diff covers so it wouldnt work for me. And I think everyone should write it down on their calenders...it was a historic event for TRG...I went on a trail run and didn't break anything...could possibly have been the moving 15 feet every two hours helped..and don't be acting like Rockape talking shit to anyone is a surprise. If it wasnt for shit talking he would be the quiet kid in the corner.

hey i was there. at the BBQ that is:gapteeth: i would say from reading the whole problem that was happening it sounds like a good idea to put all the big rigs in the front and get them out of the way so all the smaller rigs can get the help if needed. and its that how sierra trek does it is three trys and then you get the hook?

yeah, i tried suggesting that and got flamed. i'm not mentioning names because he's a very nice guy, but he took almost 90 minutes on the 2ed fall and that really held up the show. Only after some strong insistence did he take a hook...

If you weren't expecting a traffic Jam then you are a retard. I expected it to be an all day thing, planned for it, and I came out scotch free. I don't have one complaint about the whole thing, not even getting winched up the last fall. I speant maybe 7 minutes on it before gladly taking the rope.

I'm sure next year will be 10 times more organized and thus better, Lisa said she was amazed at the turnout.

The one I was running was the ready welder, the one that you use 2 12 volt batteries or three. You can also run it off the underhood welder. It's been a while since I've had my old jeep that I had a priemer power welder on, but I think for 1/8" 11018m I was right around 2k rpm. It really welded good, as good or better than my shop welder.
