I used to frequent this site a bit, but it's been a LOOOOONG time.
Hoping to meet up with more peeps for wheeling on here...the other site's members don't seem to want to get out that much. (or maybe they don't like me :Big Grin:)
Fuck it - nice to be able to type that without the *!

I live up at the Lake...have a bought and sorta built 2003 Heep Rubi - don't have a garage and don't know how to weld so the shit has to bolt on for now...:rolleyes:

Here's a pic of it this weekend on my first Rubicon trail run
(started wheeling about 2001 or so and finally went over there)

Welcome back. Right now we don't have a lot of runs planned cause a lot of people are either finishing stuff or rebuilding stuff. Or the runs they are going on are for the elite big boys of the club. Dont feel bad I dont know the secret handshake either. lol Dont worry about bolt on stuff, with the market today there are a lot more very capable companies making products to keep our life simple.

I almost did a yj to do a one ton build, but with no fab skills or garage decided against it.

THERE IS SOMETHING TO BE SAID FOR A RIG YOU CAN DRIVE TO AND FROM THE TRAIL....PLUS A BONUS TO BOLT AWNS IS ITS A WEEKEND UPGRADE....NOT A SIX MONTH NEVER ENDING BUILD!!!!!:Crying:

That is a big part of it for me too - I own a freestanding condo with no garage and not a lot of parking, so no room for a tow rig and trailer.

Not sure I'm going on the TFab run yet...looks like a short trail? (and not all that challenging?)

Some of my bros are headed to Moonrocks for Halloween, but this is the first year my daughter will be dressing up and trick or treating, so not sure I'll make that either...maybe just come down for the day.
