I have an 01 Ford Ranger and all of sudden my blinkers and emergency hazards quit working a few weeks ago after the truck warms up a bit and gets down the road. They work fine when you first start the rig up but shortly after you start driving I get no response from them. Looked in my manual and found no help so wondering if you guys got any clues.

Its time to change the blinker fluid. Its only good for 1600 right hand or left hand turns, I usually dont use my turn signals to help extend the life since its so hard to find yet alone replace the fluid.

it also depends on the type of fluid, the canadian assembled blinkers require PN 1600EH, while the Mexican fluid required 1600O'deleh. you'll need to see where your rig was assembled to determine which fluid is required, you should also check the fluid sensor, it could just be low on it
Oh also almost forgot, there is also 3 fluid colors, and they do not mix. red/amber and clear.

Check the blinker relay fuse?
Thats what I was thinking too. Its up under the dash and I got to pull some of the dash to get to it. The pic below is a replacement relay. How do I test the one in there to see if its gone bad?
