So one of my chick friend's honda is throwing a code for the O2 sensor in bank 1 sensor2 one code was slow response and the other was circuit low volts. She said it was doing it before she had the cracked exhaust manifold fixed. I think the car was an 03 or 05. any ideas on what the prob is, or where which one that sensor is? I dont know shit about hondas

YOU ARE ABOUT AS HELPFUL AS MOST CUSTOMERS....
CIVIC OR ACCORD?? 4 OR 6 CYL??
CORRECT YEAR PLEASE!!!
IF ITS A V6 BANK ONE IS THE ONE CLOSEST TO THE DRIVERS COMPARTMENT...SENSOR TWO IS SECOND ONE DOWN,,,LIKELY BEHIND THE CAT CONVERTER......GET ME EXACT CODE...IM SURE THERE IS A BULLITIN OR A REFLASH TO CURE IT....

Thanks Ape. Ya I guess it would probably help if I had the right info. She said its a 4 cylinder civic Lx 1.7L its a 2005 with manual trans. I don't think I can get the actual code till it throws it again, I was using my old code reader cause my other ones been loaned out and this one likes to erase codes when your done on its own :pissed2:

i've got another one for you. the wifes 06' element.
the check engine light is on. so i ran the code reader and it says that the car has not finished running a program. i'll get the exact code # later. it doesn't seem to run any different and the code has been up for a few months.

holy shit. thats why i made the wife take it to you guys. so i guess the check engine light was nothing. i tried running my scanner again and all it said was code pending... then the lady at the service counter said it was just a maintence reminder light. so i guess next time it comes on i'll have to hit you up for reset how to. i meticulously maintain that thing. one thing i know about Hondas is that if you treat them right they last forever!
