Im goin crazy trying to decide which system I should blow my money on. I am interested in MBRP, Silverline and Summits kit. My Dad has an '06 that he threw a Summit bullet muffler in place of the DPF and deleted the OEM moofler........sounded like garbage or a fawkin hair dryer. Yesterday he bought summits 4" turbo back and re-installed his DPF along with an AEM Brute force intake (not sure I like the Brute force) and for the most part it has a deep mellow note and doesn't sound like a gasser also it has a nice turbo tweet. So far Im likin it. But Im leaning more towards the two name brands mentioned but also they can be found cheaper and shipped free on a few different internet dealers. Under $330

..........Also.........What about chips or flash tuners??? I like the Superchips Cortex and I have a 7.3L Superchips tuner (Don't know if its loaded or not?!?!?!?:pissed2:) that I could trade in and they'll discount a new Cortex but now Im gettin interested in Innovative diesels re-programmed SCT tuner. My rig is an '04 350 crew 4dig on 38" Toyos and weighs 7,700lbs,,,,,Im not lookin for Cashmoney how much coal can I roll or how fast I can get to Glamis gains:gapteeth:Im just teasin Steve....But mostly I just want to see better MPG numbers closer to the 18s.....HA yea right lol.

What about oiled air filters?? K&N and such.......will they damage the turbo?? A Mech at Capital Ford told me the filter oil will destroy it. TRUE or FALSE? I think BS because the pcv dumps in 6" from the compressor housing on the fresh air side:dunno:

Everybodys opinion is welcome.

Leave it stock its a 6.0 they are maxed from the factory. Unless you got lots of $ for head studs and turbos dont f- with it. If you do have lots of $ you can make them run good, but then again you could go buy a cummins and get 22 mpg and not have to worry about it going BOOM!

Well like I said Im not trying to build a rocket ship. I take care of the truck and from time to time I romp on the loud pedal, I want a nice sound from it as well as pickin up more mpgs because turning 520lbs of rollin stock is killing my fuel tank. I also plan on dropping to 35x12.50r18 and that shaves close to 100lbs. Just lookin for better efficency is all.

I've got an sct x3 and it has been good to me, better milage... Mild power boost, smog clean while tuned etc..

And I would certainly do the turbo back it helped mine run smoother, no issues what so ever, I also went with a volient (sp?) intake, clean and simple with really good reviews from the desiel sites...
